ABO Energy is expanding its cooperation with electricity producer Encavis. The Hamburg-based company already operates five wind farms developed and built by ABO Energy. ABO Energy reports that business progressed as planned in the first half of 2025. After-tax profit in the first six months of the 2025 financial year was 9.6 million euros, slightly below the previous year's figure (11.4 million euros). In view of numerous projects ready for construction and positive momentum, particularly in the German wind market, the management confirms its forecast in the range of 29 million euros to 39 million euros (previous year's result: 25.6 million euros) for the entire financial year. The partnership combines ABO Energy’s contacts to industrial offtakers, strong international development capabilities and selected pre-developed green hydrogen projects, with Hydropulse’s expertise in building and operating modular, containerised green hydrogen production plants based on ITM’s market-leading electrolyser technology. ABO Energy has concluded its first syndicated loan agreement. Seven banks participated in the agreement, which was led by Commerzbank. The financing volume amounts to €240 million and is divided equally between traditional loans, revolving working capital facilities and guarantee lines. Read more >
